Independent Research for Independent Financial Advisers
The Big IFA Event
The team at QuantQual very much look forward to seeing you in Cardiff on 17 September. Not long to go now!

Legal & General should by now have sent you all the timings and joining details. Our session is at 11.20am (registration and refreshments from 11.00am), before the main event starts.
What are the key objectives of our session?
The FCA’s ‘understanding the advice market: financial advice firms survey 2025’ revealed that ‘69% of advice-firm clients main objective for seeking advice is pensions and retirement.’ So, whilst this offers a great opportunity to grow your firms business it is important to ensure you have the correct structures and processes in place.
As you will be aware the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has a major focus on Centralised Retirement Propositions (CRPs), driven heavily by its thematic review of retirement income advice (such as TR24/1) and the Consumer Duty framework.
While a CRP is not strictly mandated by the regulator, the FCA expects advisory firms to have structured, repeatable, and well-documented decumulation strategies rather than relying on accumulation-focused models.
We have a wealth of experiencing in supporting firms develop CRPs, and during our session we will be discussing the key risks, the structure of a CRP, the ongoing management of the CRP through Investment Committee governance arrangements, research and due diligence and ongoing suitability support.
We look forward to welcoming you on 17 September. If you have any questions in the meantime please contact us – jon.baker@quantqual.co.uk
